The French telecommunication company has several acceleration and incubation programs under its Africa-support initiative portfolio. Some of them include the Orange Digital Ventures, Orange Fab, and FabLab. Some of these initiatives invest in startups in Africa, while others help in helping them scale in various ways.
Well, the French company has launched a new initiative to support startups in Tunisia dubbed the Orange Digital Center. At this center, the telecom will be providing Tunisian startups with a wide range of support services including coding, mentorship, acceleration, and investments.
“I am very proud to launch the first Orange Digital Center in Tunis,” said Alioune Ndiaye, the CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa. “Dedicated to our countries’ digital development, these new spaces aim to consolidate Orange’s standing as a key player in the digital transformation of the countries where we operate.”
The Orange Digital Centers will also function as a platform where entrepreneurs, students, and just generally the youths can come to share experiences and ideas.
