People using Samsung Galaxy phones are facing ‘camera failed’ problems on their smartphones. Several users have reported on various forums that a pop-up screen appears and describes as “warning: camera fail” whenever they are trying to start the camera on their phones. Users are also unable to turn on or off the flashlight due to the warning stating that the camera light is being used by another app. It becomes difficult for the users when cameras do not work as expected.

Based on users’ experiences, we mention different solutions that can work to solve camera issues in smartphones. Here are a few:

  • According to some users, some app you installed that has camera permission is probably glitching and inappropriately keeping the camera occupied. Try to use in Safe Mode. If the problem doesn’t persist then uninstall the apps one by one till the issue goes away. This will solve the problem. To do this, turn the device off and then press and hold the Power key past the model name screen. Release the Power key when you see that “SAMSUNG” appears on the screen. Now press and …read more

Apps in search are a big deal and by every single day, they are becoming a bigger deal with Google, Bing and even Apple. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue that some Android users are facing using the Google Search App. When they search for any programming question from their Android devices, they see the Google search results as usual including a lot of SO links but, when they try and click any of them, they get a mysterious message: “No app found to open URL”.

This issue has been reported in 2013 as well, probably more often. But now there is a large spike in complaints from Android users who expect their apps to open to the appropriate content based on their query. Instead, they are being given the error message: “No app found to open URL”. People are worried and looking for any solution that might work for them and they get rid of this issue. In this article, we mention a few solutions that people have suggested on various forums and that worked for them. Here are following that you can try:

Africa’s young population could be its greatest asset in an age where many other regions in the world are aging as a result of declining birth rates

By Ime Archibong, Vice President, Product Partnerships at Facebook

Many things have been said about the future Africa and its potential, it has been called the Opportunity Continent, the Next Frontier and Africa rising, with all of these true. For me the excitement comes in how Africa can, and will one day lead in the digital economy, not only creating a better future for its young people, but for people across the entire continents, whether here in Africa or elsewhere like in Europe or the US.

Africa’s young population could be its greatest asset in an age where many other regions in the world are aging as a result of declining birth rates. As the world’s human population grows from 7.4 billion people to 8.2 billion people between now and 2025, 40% of that growth will come from Africa, and with more than 628 million people aged below 24, this young, dynamic and innovative population will become one of the most …read more

WARNING! MPhil Research Work is Next Prey of Plagiarism

Every student faces a task of not plagiarizing a paper. Not as easy as ABC. The writing of a research paper should be focused on the outcomes of well-known scientists. Note: there are no references that you can use directly from them. Students believe there is nothing horrible to duplicate somebody’s thoughts.

It’s wrong! If you identify the sentences you received from a certain published document, you are endangering your degree and damaging your confidence. The worst outcome of publishing another author’s ideas is admitting legal liability, as this is considered theft. Whatever you steal: goods from a supermarket or ideas from someone’s text. The best thing will be to use a Plagiarism checker tool when writing a research paper to maintain quality of work.

You have to develop your own original ideas in a research paper while at the same time referring to work done by others. But how can you say where your own ideas end and start? How can sources be integrated into your paper? Do you still have to quote this author if you change anything an author has said?

It would be fair to say DVD and CD as media storage has lost their appeal and practicability. Especially due to the fact that internet speeds have been climbing while internet cost has been reducing. These days, it makes more sense to back up your important files in the cloud and stream it down to wherever location you are and whichever time. On-demand files access.

DVDs and CDs are almost obsolete, and that is probably why the latest computers and home entertainment units no longer come with a DVD or CD ROM. If they must have a capability to read storage media, they would rather have USB ports to read data off thumb drives among other USB-based external memory storage.

What is the right DVD or CD burning speed?

In the unlikely event that you find yourself needing to burn a DVD or CD. Especially if you live in North America and Western Europe where internet speeds are high. There are some few pro tips you might want to consider.

If your computer does have a DVD or CD ROM, it might have a write speed of up to …read more

Chances are high you are reading this on Chrome browser, and also probably the next person near you using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. But don’t take my word for it. Below is some stats by StatCounter.com that back my informed (well, from experience) assumption.

However, by being so terribly awesome, it also means Chrome has a huge bull’s eye target on it. Every creep and weirdo on the internet with technical skills looking to victimize netizens know they must design their malware, ransomware, virus, spyware, and all other types of crapware for the Chrome browser.

Not to cause alarm and panics, Google is pretty good at what it does, and by using Chrome ‘right out of the box’ the search engine giant has some good measures to keep you safe. However, if you are the type that likes leaving nothing to chances, we recommend you beef up Chrome built-in security with the following extensions:

How to instruct Google Assistant to read out and reply to your messages on WhatsApp, Telegram

Text messaging can sometimes jeopardize your life and the people around you. There are numerous cases of road accidents that were caused by drivers driving while texting. If you must text while driving, Google Assistant could save your life by allowing you to concentrate on your driving as it reads out your SMS messages. But that has been so, only if you are using Google’s Android Messages on your smartphone. Even then, the experience left a lot to be desired.

Google has silently pushed out an update that will not only improve the experience of Google Assistant reading and listening to your dictation as it replies to your SMS messages. But the capability has been extended beyond just Android Messages. It can also read out text sent to you via other third-party apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Slack among others.

The only weird thing about it is that there has been no official announcement from Google. The news first broke out by publication by Android Police and 91mobile.

Bitcoin Use Cases On The Continent
